Bath Rituals- New Moon

Each of our bath blends has a base of Himalayan and Epsom salt, which are both brilliant for relaxing your muscles and easing cramps. Then we add a mixture of different herbs and flowers petals that match the theme of the bath ritual. For the new moon blend we have added: rosemary (for grounding and protection), rose (for self love and confidence), and blue lotus (for divination and dreamwork). We've topped this all off with some vitamin E oil (great for healthy skin), and orange (for positivity and optimism) essential oil . Add a handful of these salts to your bath to invite the energy of the new moon into your bath. If you don't want petals floating around your bath, use any pouch you have available to hold the salts. The salt will deserve and the herbs will still infuse into the water. 

Whether you pick a blend because of the smell, or the meaning behind the ritual, these salts will add a bit of luxury to your bath and help your body heal. Treat yourself! All in all, this blend is an indulgent mix that just screams self love and new beginings. It honestly smells divine and would make any bath that bit more special! A great idea for birthdays, mother's day, or just because!

The Ritual

The New Moon marks the begining of the lunar calendar. She is powerful, and as well as affecting the tides she can effect our emotions too. It is the perfect time for planning and manifestation.

1. Create a sacred space by adding crystals and candles around your bath tub.
2. Cleanse your space using incense, sage, or palo santo.
3. Run your bath and visualise the moonlight pouring into your tub. Then add the bath ritual salts whilst asking for wisdom, healing, and protection.
4. Submerge yourself in the water and visualise what you wish to manifest. Allow the water with all its power to surround you and fill you with love. Ask out loud for what you want, followed by "thank you, thank you, thank you".
5. Take a moment to connect with your breath. Feel the rhythm of your body slow down. Express gratitude for the energy of the full moon. Thank the universe for this support and guidance. 
6. Relax and enjoy your beautiful sacred bath. When you are ready, empty the water and watch it wash away as your desires are set free into the universe.
